MYSORE–COORG: After breakfast drive to Coorg or Kodagu district is one of the few areas in South India to have retained its original forests. The forests are still home to wild elephants and other wildlife and also give the area a pleasant climate. The picturesque hills are covered by spice plantations and coffee estates and provide good trekking opportunities. Madikeri, the capital, is an attractive small town in a beautiful hilly setting surrounded by the forested slopes of the Western Ghats.
COORG–KABINI: After breakfast drive to Kabini Once a private hunting lodge of the Maharaja of Mysore and the British viceroys, Kabini is located on the banks of the Kabini River. Presently it is considered to be one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in Karnataka, well-known for its stunning wildlife and bird life.
